WATER REFLECTIONS
ITINERARY
The meeting point is at Marina del Faro (1) dock, located in Cavallino-Treporti, with departure set for around 9:00 AM
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of sailing along the Casson-Saccagnana canal, you’ll enter the Venetian Lagoon (2), where our members can enjoy breathtaking landscapes, immersed in nature between the lagoon and the sea.
The tour continues toward Burano (3), with disembarkation expected at around 11:00 AM and 2 hours of free time to explore the island, enjoy a packed lunch, or dine at one of the local restaurants.
At around 1:00 PM, the tour resumes with reboarding and navigation toward Torcello Island (4), arriving at 1:15 PM with 1 hour of free time to visit the island.
At 2:15 PM, the program includes reboarding for a 1-hour sail to the Convent of St. Francis of the Desert (5), where at 3:30 PM, visitors can take a guided tour of the Franciscan convent led by a friar (the visit lasts about 40 minutes, subject to prior booking by the club).
At around 4:30 PM, the tour concludes with reboarding and return to Marina del Faro (1), arriving at approximately 6:00 PM
Preparations for the Tour
Wear comfortable clothing;
Bring clean shoes;
Bring a waterproof windbreaker.
What's Included:
Venetian aperitif served onboard during the cruise;
Private boat (max 6 people) exclusively available for the entire tour (~9 hours);
Onboard bathroom with WC;
Reservation made by the club for the St. Francis of the Desert Monastery (voluntary donations to the monastery are appreciated).
Conditions:
Participation is exclusively reserved for registered club members;
The captain reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel the event due to adverse weather;
Mandatory use of onboard safety equipment;
No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of departure;
Anything not explicitly mentioned is not included.
