LAUNCH AND HAULING
The Boat Launching and Recovery Course focuses on the techniques and skills required to safely manage the loading, unloading, and transportation of boats using a trailer. Participation in this course is highly beneficial for boat owners or professionals in the nautical sector, as it provides essential training to perform maneuvers competently, confidently, and safely.
Course Objectives
To provide participants with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to safely and independently perform boat transportation, launching, and recovery operations using trailers.
Course Program and Duration
The course lasts 8 hours (4 hours theory + 4 hours practical training).
The course is structured as follows:
Theoretical Session, covering topics such as:
Local and national regulations regarding trailer transportation and usage.
Safety procedures to prevent accidents.
Proper use of launching ramps.
Correct trailer positioning.
Securing and balancing the boat on the trailer.
Strategies for launching and recovery in challenging conditions (e.g., rough seas, uneven slopes).
Trailer maintenance and pre-trip checks.
Practical Session, where participants will practice:
Launching and recovering a boat under supervision.
Simulating common scenarios to troubleshoot real-time issues during boat launching and recovery.
