Itinerart
The tour includes meeting at the dock at Marina del Faro (1) located in Cavallino-Treporti, and departure at around 9:00 AM.
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of navigation on the “Casson-Saccagnana” canal, we enter the Venetian Lagoon (2), where our members can admire suggestive landscapes immersing themselves in nature between the lagoon and the sea. We proceed towards Mose (3) where you can observe from the boat a unique engineering work in the world.
The navigation continues with a view of Fortezza S. Andrea (4) and bacino S. Marco (5) where you can admire from the boat the symbol of Venice in the world, the bell tower of S. Marco.
Subsequently, the tour continues with the view of a world-famous work “Le Mani di Quinn” (6).
At around 12:15 PM, disembarkation is scheduled at the island of Certosa (7), with 1 hour of free time, where our members can have a packed lunch and/or refresh themselves at the island's venues.
At around 1:15 PM, the tour includes re-embarkation and navigation for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, which involves passing on the north side of the Island of S. Erasmo (8), renowned for being the island with ancient agricultural traditions and famous for the production of the famous violet artichokes (“castraure”).
After passing the Island of S. Erasmo (8), the itinerary includes returning to the dock at Marina del Faro (1) at around 4:15 PM.
Preparations for the Tour:
Wear comfortable clothing;
Bring clean shoes;
Bring a waterproof windbreaker.
What’s Included:
- Venetian-style aperitif served on board during the cruise;
Private boat (max 6 people) exclusively available for the entire duration of the tour (approx. 9 hours);
Onboard bathroom with toilet;
Booking arranged by the club for the visit to St. Francis of the Desert Convent (a voluntary donation to the convent is appreciated).
Conditions:
- Participation in the tour is exclusively reserved for registered club members;
- The captain reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel the event in case of adverse weather conditions;
- Use of the safety equipment on board is mandatory;
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure will not be refunded.
Anything not expressly mentioned is not included.
